When stylist and editor Salvador Cosio approached me with the idea of collaborating on this story, offering complete creative freedom, I was excited and eager to create custom wigs. While I typically prefer working with human hair wigs for their natural appearance and greater creative flexibility, in this case, I used synthetic ones as a base.
On Albert, the wig was placed on top of his own hair, while Teo wore a mullet, created by adding previously bleached human hair extensions. For Jurre, inspired by Olivier Schawalder's hair design for Kiko Kostadinov FW24, I crafted a blend of length and color in his fringe. A braided hair tie is also my handiwork, an allusion to Schiaparelli's FW24. The final result was featured in the print version of Elle Mexico—a testament to how creative wig work can support both concept and character on set.
