For this editorial, I designed a custom facepiece made of hair that complemented the stunning set design and the red accent that ran throughout the story. The piece felt sculptural yet organic, integrating with lighting and wardrobe without overpowering the image. On set, I worked closely with the team to adjust the structure, ensuring it maintained its shape, became part of the overall makeup design and blended into the visual narrative.
For the remaining looks, we worked with Abeny’s natural braids. My goal was to keep them tight, clean, and perfectly polished so that the focus stayed on the clothes and overall composition.
